Those of us who share our lives with non-human animals know the joy these friendships bring us. To create a home in which several species live together peaceably is to set up a mini-utopia, where humans respect rather than exploit the other inhabitants. It's also a lot of fun. We approach the rabbit-canine interface, with equal measures of optimism and caution.
